Dragon Rises College offers Federal Financial Aid for our students in the form of Direct Stafford loans and Graduate PLUS loans.

Our student loans come directly from the U.S. Department of Education, and are not affected by issues in the banking industry. To begin to qualify for Stafford loans all you have to do is fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). FAFSA must be filled out annually.

Unsubsidized loans are available for everyone, regardless of level in college or need. Grad PLUS loans (for graduate-level students) have additional qualifications, including a credit check. For more info on the financial aid process, see our Info Sheet. For more information on the Grad Plus loans, please see the Grad Plus Loans Info Sheet.

You may apply for loans by accessing this link: https://studentaid.gov/

Our school code is: G38883

Florida Bright Futures and Florida Postsecondary Student Assistance Grants are available to qualifying Florida residents who have not yet completed a Bachelors degree. View available State Programs.

We are approved for Veterans Training, as well as V.A. Vocational Rehabilitation and Florida Department of Education Rehabilitation benefits. Veterans may fill out the VA Application for Benefits on line at www.gibill.va.gov

FERPA (Family Education Rights and Privacy Act) was enacted in 1974. It is a set of regulations that applies to those institutions that receive funding from the Department of Education. FERPA was written specifically for students and guarantees them the right to inspect and review their education records, the right to seek to amend education records, and the right to have some control over the disclosure of information from those education records. Please see the FERPA information sheet for more detailed information.
