At Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine, our Master of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (MAHM) program prepares students to become highly skilled practitioners of East Asian Medicine through a comprehensive blend of traditional wisdom, modern science, and extensive clinical experience.

Dragon Rises’ 3,225-hour, 10-semester (40-month) Master’s Degree Program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (ACAHM).

Our curriculum meets or exceeds Florida’s educational requirements and prepares graduates to pursue professional licensure in Florida and many other states.

Graduates are eligible to sit for the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM®) examinations and, upon successful completion, may apply for state licensure where applicable.

From your first classes through your final clinical internship, you’ll develop the skills necessary to assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and confidently deliver care in a variety of healthcare settings.

Two Degrees, One Educational Path

Students who enter the program with a minimum of 60 semester credits of undergraduate coursework are admitted into the Master’s pathway.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are awarded:

  • Bachelor of Health Sciences
  • Master of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine
