LIBRARIAN INTERN/VOLUNTEER

JOB TYPE: Part-time, 8 hours weekly

Dragon Rises College is seeking a dependable and organized Volunteer Librarian to assist with cataloguing, maintaining, and supporting the college’s library resources and learning environment. This position supports students, faculty, and staff by helping organize materials, maintain records, and promote access to educational resources related to East Asian medicine, acupuncture, herbal studies, wellness, and higher education.

TEACHING FACULTY-EAST ASIAN & WESTERN MEDICINE

JOB LOCATION: Bradenton, FL 

REPORTS TO: Academic Dean
POSITION TYPE: Part-Time / Adjunct Faculty
LOCATION: On-Ground and/or Hybrid Distance Education

Salary: $40-$50 hourly based on education level and experience

POSITION SUMMARY

Teaching Faculty at Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine (DRCOM) play an essential role in fulfilling the College’s mission to educate and inspire the next generation of practitioners and leaders in East Asian medicine. Faculty are responsible for creating a supportive, engaging, and academically rigorous learning environment that prepares students to meet course and program learning outcomes and become competent, compassionate healthcare practitioners.

Faculty members bring professional expertise, clinical experience, and a commitment to student success to the classroom. Depending on the course assignment, faculty may teach East Asian Medicine/Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, or Western Medicine courses as established by their degree and experience, through on-ground instruction, synchronous distance education, or a combination of delivery formats.

Faculty are expected to be active members of the College community, maintain high standards of academic integrity and professionalism, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the academic program.
