Our Student Government Association (SGA) is an active group of representatives from each semester who meet monthly provide engaging activities and work with faculty and staff to continually improve our educational community. Their mission is as follows:

(a) Recognize issues or concerns affecting students and provide ways of addressing those issues as efficiently as possible.

(b) Encourage communication and collaboration across the College. 

(c) Act as a liaison between the students and the administration.

(d) Organize events that will bring students together for service, professional and/or academic development, and social enjoyment.

(e) Open and Public Nature: All students are encouraged to attend public DRCOMSGA meetings and events and to be involved in the student government initiatives.

Students are encouraged to become involved in the SGA in any of their numerous activities such as:

Plan a welcome event for incoming students, tend to our Herb Garden, hold a celebration for the holidays, take a leadership role as an elective officer position, T-shirt contests, fundraising, Graduation celebrations, and more!
