Dr. Dorian G. Kramer, DACM 

Executive Director

Dr. Kramer became Academic Dean with the opening of Dragon Rises College’s Bradenton campus in 2022 and was elected Executive Director in Fall 2024. His drive for both the College and the field of East Asian medicine is to create new avenues for knowledge and access to Integrative Medicine. Through further development of internship opportunities in community and healthcare facilities, the creation of a Doctoral program with specialty tracks, and continuous program analysis and enhancements, Dr. Kramer is committed to creating leaders in the field.

Dr. Kramer earned his BA in psychology at Queens College and his Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at the New York College of Health Professions in 2004. In addition to serving as a NY EMT for a decade, he grew a private practice in Northern New Hampshire into the state’s most successful holistic health centers. While developing the region’s first nonprofit outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program, he was an active Member of the NH Acupuncture Board.

Dr. Kramer specializes in the treatment of psychiatric disorders with a focus on PTSD, CPTSD, DTD, somatoform disorders, addiction, chronic pain, & geriatrics. He obtained his Doctorate in Acupuncture from Pacific College in 2020.

Dr. Jessica Fritz, DACM, AP

Academic Dean

Dr. Jessica Fritz is a nationally board-certified and Florida-licensed Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She holds a doctorate from Pacific College of Health and Science and a master’s from the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin (AOMA) Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. Her specialties include pediatrics, women’s health, and internal medicine.With over a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Fritz utilizes Chinese herbs, Japanese acupuncture techniques as well as Tui Na bodywork in her treatments at Root Therapies Acupuncture & Apothecary in Sarasota, FL. Dr. Fritz teaches acupuncture and clinical courses at Dragon Rises.

Prior to becoming an Acupuncture Physician, Jessica lived in Beijing, China for several years where she studied Mandarin Chinese and practiced Tai Chi and Kung Fu at the Beijing Language and Culture University. She has a Master’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Maryland and has worked in women’s health nonprofit organizations in Washington, D.C. Dr. Fritz practices at Root Therapies when not teaching.

Adam Bailey, DOM, AP

Clinic Director

Mr. Bailey obtained a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from Dragon Rises College and has expertise in sports medicine, Shaolin Wahnam Qi Gong, and food fermentation. In addition to being the Clinic Director, he coordinates outside externships and works as a faculty member instructing in Herbal Medicine and COM courses.

Sherry Ingbritsen

Director of Admissions and Student Services

Attended Bauder College for Business Administration. She brings nearly thirty years of experience serving in both admissions and leadership roles in a variety of higher learning institutions  Sherry is excited to be part of Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine, and enjoys speaking with prospective students and helping them begin this new challenge in their lives.

DJ Kramer, BA

Executive Assistant/ Marketing Director

DJ is a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelor’s in American Studies. She has worked with many nonprofits in roles ranging from volunteer, to Executive Director. While serving nonprofits from inception toward expansion, fulfilling a variety of community, healthcare, and educational needs, she has also provided marketing expertise to fulfill each organization’s goals.

Jacqueline Planchard

Office Manager, BDT Clinic Coordinator, Registrar 

Jacqueline oversees the daily operations of both the college and its clinic, ensuring that students, patients, faculty, and staff have sufficient support, including managing clinic administration, coordinating schedules, maintaining accurate records, and keeping clinic systems operating efficiently. She is currently earning her BA degree in Architectural Design. 

Julia Leavy, AP

GNV Clinic Manager, Supervisor,

Julia a DRCOM graduate, having earned her Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine with a Bachelors in Health Science. Her practice specializes in stroke care and mental health.

Jennifer Fimbres

Accounting Director

Jennifer attended Grand Canyon University and has over 20 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors. She holds a Health Coach certificate and a Holistic Health Practitioner certificate from Trinity School of Natural Health.

Dr. Teresa Renfroe, DAOM

Compliance Coordinator

She is a licensed Acupuncture Physician in Sarasota, FL. She holds a Doctorate degree from Pacific College of Health and Science, and a Masters from East West College of Natural Medicine. She completed her internship at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou China, and specializes in Chinese medical oncology and Neuro-Acupuncture. She currently works with patients in the inpatient rehab at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and is also a faculty member at Dragon Rises College.

Derrick Phillips

IT & Distance Education Coordinator

Derrick works supporting and managing the technology behind the college’s distance learning systems. He brings experience from non-profit and educational settings, including humanitarian work both in the U.S. and abroad. Derrick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit/Organizational Management and is completing a B.S. in Information Technology at Western Governors University. He also carries the CompTIA Triad and ITIL 4 Foundation certifications and plans to continue his studies in WGU’s MSITM program.
