MODULE IV (The Neck, Shoulder & Upper Extremity) Assessment & Treatment of Injuries (ATI) (FL)
In this class, practitioners will learn how many injuries involving the neck, shoulder, and upper extremity involve the postural position of the spine, ribcage, and the lumbo-pelvic region, and how balancing the relationship between these anatomical structures will greatly improve your treatment outcomes. You will learn postural assessment, triple star orthopedic physical examinations & manual muscle testing that will help improve the precision of your diagnosis and treatment. This includes how to properly assess whether the patient’s pain is local, referred or radicular and coming from the spine, all which informs different treatment methods. In addition to learning advanced needle techniques, proper motor entry point needling and how to use key channel points to promote healing, you will also learn myofascial techniques that augment your needling.
