Board Chair– Robert Pollan
A visionary entrepreneur, investor, and operating executive with global experience in technology and non-technology spanning 25-plus years. Throughout his wide-ranging professional career, Mr. Pollan has identified unique opportunities and driven exponential valuation creation and revenue growth. He has acquired, invested in, turned around, restructured, and led early-stage and mature companies, both public and private, building numerous management teams. His experience spans major public companies such as General Electric, Texas Instruments, and GE Capital, as well as tech companies such as Universal Access, Mobility Technologies, Procurian, ICG, and industrial companies such as the Szczecin Shipyard in Poland. He has been involved in capital market activities that cumulatively are double-digit billions in capital market value.
Vice Chair– Lisa Pierce
A seasoned technology leader with deep experience in new product innovation, research, and consulting, Lisa served in product development and management at Bell Labs/AT&T, as a Giga Research Fellow at Forrester Research, and as a Managing Vice President at Gartner. All of this work focused on improving the performance and value of communications technologies serving the enterprise market. In addition to Dragon Rises College, Lisa serves on the Boards of the Suncoast Perlman Music Program and Corporate Crisis Response Officers’ Association, and as a Planning Commissioner in her hometown. She previously helped successfully shepherd a local struggling community center through COVID, and its budget is now 2X 2019’s level.

Secretary– Johanna Myers
A health care professional with multiple decades of hands-on experience serving clients of all ages in a clinic, hospital, and home care settings. Given her specialization of focusing on neurology issues, she has firsthand experience observing the benefits of a comprehensive healthcare approach that integrates eastern and western medical treatment. She possesses several degrees and certificates from institutions spanning 3 continents, which provides her with additional insight into effective education delivery.
Board Member– Dr. Joseph Clarke
Dr. Joe Clarke has provided over 30,000 acupuncture treatments in his clinics in Santa Monica, CA, and Venice, FL. His doctoral research focused on FMRI studies of the brain during and post-acupuncture treatment, with postdoc studies in Functional Medicine under the guidance of Datis Kharrazian and Nasha Winters. Joe holds four medical board certifications (CA, FL, NCCAOM, ABORM), has taught and supervised at three Colleges, and is also a Graduate of Goldman Sachs 10,000 small business program. He has collaborated in the development of nutraceutical formulas with two nationwide brands (Pure Health Research and Synvite) and has spoken at conferences on the differences in perspective and approaches to care between conventional and integrative medicine and how they might best complement each other.

I am a results-driven administrative management specialist with a proven track record spanning over 10 years, offering specialized expertise in supporting both commercial and U.S. government operations. My managerial proficiency extends across various roles, showcasing an ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, spanning different countries of origin, and operating at various career levels within corporate and government spheres. I possess strong relationship-building skills, capable of fostering connections across functions and business units while adeptly resolving challenges in diverse settings. My communication skills are a strong asset, enabling me to proficiently handle accounting tasks such as A/R, A/P, account reconciliation, and briefing peers, support personnel, as well as senior staff through articulate oral presentations, informal discussions, and well-crafted written reports. I am highly autonomous in producing positive outcomes and exhibit a strong self-motivated drive.
